What I listen for
When mastering, I am listening for the things that most affect how a track lands in the real world:
- Tonal balance
- Low-end control
- Vocal clarity
- Dynamic integrity
- Stereo balance
- Translation across playback systems
- Cohesion and confidence at release stage
The goal is not to force every track into the same shape. The goal is to help each release feel finished, balanced, and dependable.
