Press, radio, playlists — everything else in the campaign can be running exactly to plan, and it still won’t matter if you’re privately unsure the record itself is good enough to carry it. A missed or shaky master doesn’t just cost you a mix note. It costs you a release date, and it puts your judgement on the line with the artist. That’s the risk this process is built to remove.
- A full critical listen against the release brief, with a written PDF report flagging anything that needs fixing upstream before mastering begins — so problems get caught while they’re still cheap to fix, not after.

The Delivery Guarentee
If something makes it through the Dual-Stage Protocol that fails the loudness spec or reference we agreed and shouldn’t have — I’ll fix it at no additional cost, with no, provided it’s raised within 14 days of final delivery. That’s a mistake in my process, and it’s on me, not you. Changes of preference outside the agreed brief are handled as additional revisions.
